First Dentist Visit

Ella had her first dentist appointment today. She did a great job! No complaints while the hygienist cleaned and flossed her teeth, and sat still for the x-rays.

No cavities or decay, and everything is coming in nicely... 20 teeth, all right where they're supposed to be.
She particularly enjoyed seeing x-rays ("they took pictures of my skeleton!!"). She also talked almost nonstop the entire time, and charmed the heck out of everyone she met there.

We love our dentist, Dr. Norrlander. She is super gentle and caring, and her staff really works to make sure that kids have a good experience so they don't develop anxiety around dentist visits. If anyone is looking for a dentist in downtown Minneapolis, we highly recommend Dr. Norrlander!

Kai went to the dentist today, too! 20 teeth too! Didn't chat, though.

I'd be willing to bet Mommy took the pictures--she's not making faces!

I think Ella deserves a reward for being so patient and calm while the dentist worked on her teeth! I know it’s not always easy to get kids to behave for their dental procedures, so Ella deserves a round of applause! Kudos to your dentist as well for doing a great job with Ella! It’s so important for a dentist to have good children skills to help alleviate kids’ anxiety around them.

I agree with Melissa! Ella deserves a reward for being a good girl. I guess, it’s also because of the dentist who kept Ella calm all throughout the check up. I hope I can find a dentist as good as yours to take care of my daughter’s dental health.

I always love to see cute and brave little girls. You also deserve an award for being able to take care of Ella’s teeth properly! Imagine, at her young age, she has no cavities! Isn’t that an achievement?
